I am looking for a way to sync a Google Hangouts chat with a Slack channel. If you are a Mac user, you can use this Mac Screen Recorder to record Google hangout on Mac. I have to use Google Hangouts if I want to have a group discussion with people using hangouts. Hangouts version 18 is now being rolled out, but doesn't appear to incorporate any functional changes. The app comes preinstalled on many operating systems which makes it all the more annoying when it consumes resources in the background.
